Genelec has won the Sustainability Award in the Business category at the internationally recognised 2026 Inavation Awards. The award was presented during the closing segment of the opening-night gala at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2026, held at MNAC in Barcelona, celebrating projects and organisations shaping how AV is designed, delivered, and sustained in real-world environments.
The Business Awards recognise companies demonstrating leadership, consistency, and long-term impact across the AV sector. Genelec was honoured for its ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility, sustainable product design, and energy-efficient, long-lasting audio solutions.
Genelec has been committed to responsible business practices since its founding in 1978. The company aims to minimise the environmental and social impacts of its operations while developing sustainable, energy-efficient and long-lasting audio solutions.
– We are extremely proud of this recognition. It confirms that our long-term work in sustainability is delivering tangible results and that we are on the right path,” Genelec says.
As part of the Sustainable Business Award, Inavation pledged to plant ten trees for every company entering the category. This year, 180 trees were planted, illustrating the industry’s collective contribution to sustainability.
Genelec’s Smart IP loudspeaker and subwoofer family exemplifies the company’s approach to sustainable AV solutions, combining premium audio quality, networked convenience, and energy efficiency through a single CAT cable delivering power, audio, and control.
