Spirit of Paimio 2025

This October, the Spirit of Paimio conference returns to the iconic Paimio Sanatorium to explore the tension between two seemingly opposing forces: the need to preserve and the desire to renew. Under the theme Echoes of the Future, this year’s conference brings together architects, designers, thinkers, and changemakers to reflect on how Alvar and Aino Aalto’s humane and nature-oriented design philosophy can inspire new responses to the pressing challenges of our time — both in Paimio and beyond.
