Finnish Brands Featured in Nordic Design Showcase in Copenhagen

Three leading Finnish design companies will participate in the 3daysofdesign festival in Copenhagen this June as part of the Nordic group exhibition Scandinavian Design on the Move.

The exhibition will be presented at the Embassy of Finland in Copenhagen, where Finnish companies will showcase their expertise alongside Swedish and Danish design brands. Internationally recognised, 3daysofdesign is one of Northern Europe’s most important design events, bringing together industry professionals, media, buyers and design audiences from around the world.

The joint exhibition highlights new directions and voices in Nordic design while reflecting contemporary values such as sustainability, innovation and thoughtful aesthetics. Representing Finland are Finarte, Lapuan Kankurit and Mifuko, each presenting current perspectives on Finnish design through material innovation, responsibility, craftsmanship and evolving aesthetics.

The exhibition is curated by internationally acclaimed Finnish designer Ilkka Suppanen and forms part of the Scandinavian Design Embassy initiative, which aims to strengthen the international visibility of Nordic design through embassies and residency networks around the world.

Scandinavian Design Embassy builds on the Finnish Design Embassy concept launched in 2022. Since then, the initiative has evolved into a collaborative international platform between Nordic design organisations. In 2025, the concept was successfully presented in New York, Paris and Tokyo, while in 2026 events have already taken place in Stockholm and New York in addition to Copenhagen.
