Circular Design for Business

Design Forum Finland is set to launch an online course on circular design. The Circular Design for Business course was developed to address the gaps in designers’ and product developers’ expertise in circular design. 

Last autumn, Design Forum Finland conducted a survey on the proficiency in circular design among professionals engaged in product and service development. Despite a strong interest in sustainable and circular design, many respondents demonstrated limited knowledge in this area. The new free and easily accessible online course will help bridge that gap. 

The course materials were developed by Design Forum Finland in collaboration with Ethica Oy, and the technical and ecucational platform was provided by MPS Prewise. Both partners were selected through a tender process. The project is funded by the Ministry of Culture and Education as part of the Sustainable Growth Programme from the EU Recovery Plan Next Generation EU. The course will be launched in late October and will initially be available only in Finnish. More information
