Stanford University has cancelled the Design Thinking Bootcamp originally scheduled for spring 2026. The cancellation is due to internal program arrangements at Stanford University, and the program will be rescheduled to autumn 2026 in its current format. The postponement will not affect the scholarships already awarded, and the scholarship recipients will participate in the autumn 2026 cohort.
In January, Design Forum Finland awarded anniversary-year scholarships to three Finnish business leaders: Chief Commercial Officer Lea Aarinen-Koski, CEO Timo Helosuo, and Director Maija Koski. The scholarships are part of Design Forum Finland’s Growth and Competitiveness through Design campaign, which aims to highlight the role of design in companies’ intangible value creation and as a driver of business success. The objective of the scholarship programme is to strengthen strategic design capabilities within Finnish companies and to support executives in leveraging design thinking in business development.
Design Forum Finland will provide further information once the updated programme schedule from Stanford University has been confirmed.
