Laboratory of Hope

The Laboratory of Hope exhibition invites visitors to explore hope as a driving force for change and action. Creators from across Aalto University’s disciplines share what hope means to them and how, through their work, they contribute to building a more just and sustainable society — from inclusive fashion and AI applications to new quantum materials.

Hope is not merely a dream, but a force that calls for action and generates a positive cycle: action nurtures hope, and hope inspires further action. In the Laboratory of Hope, visitors encounter solutions that reduce polarization, advance healthcare, improve accessibility, and open new perspectives on a good life.
