Alvar Aalto Week 2025

The Alvar Aalto anniversary year in Rovaniemi culminates in Alvar Aalto Week in the world’s northernmost Aalto city. The theme, Arctic Everyday Aalto, reflects Alvar Aalto’s philosophy: beauty and functionality are not reserved for special occasions, but are present close to us and in everyday life. The Arctic draws its strength from light, nature, and the seasons—just like Aalto’s architecture and design.
